Pocket 2 is where material and motion meet. The design challenge was to make the phone's
physical texture — its lustrous white mother-of-pearl finish — come alivethrough the screen.

Standard Edition
The standard edition centres on a 3D dynamic model that responds to the device's folding angle.
As the phone opens, wing-like forms unfold in sync — their surface catching light the way the
hardware does. The texture is deliberate: fine, luminous,
and in conversation with the device it lives on.

Beyond the visual, I took ownership of the technical handoff. Working closely with front-end
engineers, I resolved frame rate issues and folding-angle adaptations, calibrated the settings
module display, and established a standardised delivery framework — a reference for the team on
all subsequent projects.

Collector's Edition — Iris van Herpen
The collector's edition began with a conversation between the French team and Iris van Herpen.
Her visual language is intricate — complex lines that feel almost biological. Our challenge was to
honour that complexity without overwhelming the screen.

We distilled her aesthetic into something quieter. The result is a minimal visual system that holds
its own against the hardware — balancing the outer display with the collector's shell without
competing with it.
